Objective:
The Teachers’ Day celebration was organised to express heartfelt gratitude and appreciation towards teachers for their dedication, guidance, patience and invaluable contribution to the lives of students. The programme aimed to strengthen the beautiful bond between teachers and students and create a memorable day filled with joy, creativity and togetherness.
Flow of the Celebration:
The celebration began with a heartwarming surprise planned by the students for their teachers. Students expressed their love and gratitude through beautiful speeches, graceful dance performances and creatively designed greeting cards prepared especially for their teachers. Their thoughtful efforts brought smiles to the faces of the teachers and created an emotional and memorable beginning to the celebration.
Adding a special charm to the occasion, students also dressed up and performed the roles of their teachers. Through this activity, they presented a delightful glimpse of classroom experiences and the everyday efforts of teachers, creating moments of laughter and appreciation.
The celebration then continued with a series of exciting and fun-filled games. The first activity, Cone Picking, tested speed, alertness and coordination. This was followed by an entertaining “Guess the Movie/Song by Emoji” game, which encouraged quick thinking and observation. The excitement continued with a lively Chair Relay, where participants displayed teamwork, coordination and a healthy competitive spirit. The “Form a Pyramid” activity further encouraged team bonding, cooperation and concentration as participants worked together to complete the glass pyramid sequence. The celebration concluded with Balancing a Cone on the Head, which tested patience, focus and balance while adding plenty of fun and laughter to the occasion. Winners were felicitated with small gifts as tokens of appreciation and encouragement.
